IH 656 TA linkage lubrication?

Hi there everyone. I have a 656 that is in pretty much mint condition. I used the TA all last year with little trouble. The other day, for the first time this year, I needed to gear down and pulled the TA in. The lever was so hard to pull I could barely move it. How do I correct this? I hate to start pulling sheetmetal off looking for lubrication points. I would rather have an idea of what I need to do before starting to disassemble things blindly. Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to pass along.

Get yourself a can of good penetrating oil (NOT PB BLASTER) :>).

Hit that seam every time ya walk by the tractor.

It will give up/free up.

There is no factory lubrication point on the pivot.

Remove the left side fiberglass cowling and you can see it all. Use PB blaster or your favorite juice to get it freed up, then oil with engine oil.
