IHC Plow question for Hugh MacKay and others

I just purchased an IHC 311 fast hitch 3-16 fully mounted plow. It has a steel tail wheel. I have a friend that has the same plow with a rubber tire tail wheel. Which is right or did they offer both??

Wayne, I own 2 of the 311`s . One has rubber tail wheel, the other a steel tail wheel w/scraper. Factory offered them both ways according to my parts book.

Wayne: Mark is correct, plus there have been many variations done by farmers. One might buy a new plow, then not like wheel arrangement as well as the old plow in the shed. A lot of these will bolt up even on plows 20 years newer. Gauge wheels on landside of plows are much the same.
