Vinly Decal Q's

How hard are these decals to apply compared to the mylar ones? Im assuming that they are idividual letters, and not one large single decal like the Mylar? Any tips on how to apply them would be very helpful, considering i have never used this type before.

Thanks

Andrew

I"ve used both. Both apply about the same. I use soapy water on surface to apply the decal. This helps to correctly position the decal and also remove any air bubbles from behind the decal. I hope this helps and good decorating.

Yep,
Just of drop or two of regular dish soap in a small pan of warm water works good.

Andrew, I also use the soap trick. Works good. They are individual letters, but are stuck to a piece of backing paper. You put them all on at once to insure the proper spacing. Also don't clear coat over the vinyl ones. They need to breathe, which is nice because if you get a small bubble in one, just park it out in the sun on a nice warm day and the bubble will disappear. I had a few bubbles in my MTA decals when I put them on 6 months ago. Now they are all gone and it looks great.

I used some thinned down Windex and sprayed it on the surface I was applying the decal to. When I say thin, there was just enough down in the bottom of the bottle to let you know that it was there.
