SC Fast hitch to 3 point trouble.

I have a 3 point blade and a carryall. I also have a Super C to hook them to, Now comes the problem. I have a Fast hitch to 3 point adapter unit. The inside measurment is about 26 3/4"
The inside measurment on the equipment is 27 1/2" There is no way it will fit. Should I make a 1/2" spacer to fit behind the "plate pivots" on the 3 point adapter? That would make it go out 1" and take the inside of the 3 point adapter out to 27 3/4".

On my 3-point rake I moved one of the pins from the outside to the inside, the two inch offset is so small that it works fine. everything else fits fine. But I will tell you that the only way to get the fast hitch to work right is buy fast hitch employments, I just tried to hook up my finish mower and the drive shaft hits the adaptor, blade wont lift high enough etc..the fast hitch stuff works fine.
