354 International Oil

I just purchased a 1973 international 354 and I want to make a oil change but I cant see to find where I put it in. Can you help me out?

Hi AJ, I assume it is a Diesel with the BD154 engine, if so then the oil filler is, remove the breather cap on the top of the valve cover. Use 15W-40 Diesel engine oil.

It is a gas not a deisel

AJ, looked at caseih.com parts and gas engine has same arrangement, remove oil breather cap from valve cover a pour oil in tube. I hope you can access the oil breather cap by removing the access cover by the battery & fuel tank.

The oil filler cap is under the hood on top of the engine almost right beside the carb. Sorta looks like a metal mushroom sitting up there. the only thing I hated about this tractor when I had it was that when you wanted to a simple oil change or tune up you have to remove the whole damn hood off the tractor to get to everything.
