656 clutch related squeal

WHen you let the clutch pedal out in gear, no load, it makes a sound kind of like a burn out, then continues to move. The speed of the sound is similar to engine speed, it is not completely reduced, indicating it is not in the final drive. Tractor drives fine otherwise, TA works fine. there is some possible bearing noise in an axle or final drive, but not same noise as the squeal. There are no brakes, for some reason reverse took care of that 10 years ago. Clutch was replaced at overhaul 5 years ago and flywheel was turned (step turned too), maybe 200 hours on it, no heavy tillage since, but was primary tillage tractor from new til then. Linkage adjustment seems correct.

What would be the common source of such a squeal? sometimes it sounds more metallic than others.
I think there may be a transmission refresh in the future.

thanks.
should be too new for that, but anything is possible. Also i would think holding the pedal in would make it noisiest, not when it just starts to engage.
