Felt washers.

Does anyone have a source for felt washers? I've found some through my International dealer for a whopping $7 a pop. I expected to pay less than a buck a piece - any chance someone knows where to get them for a more reasonable price? I'm looking for 2" OD, 3/4" ID for the hydraulic port pipes on an H.

I was looking for a felt washer for my jeep transfer case, bought some felt insoles for shoes-boots. lots of felt washers could be made from them for about 5 $

I've never looked, but I'd think that a fabric or a crafts store might have that stuff in bulk.

I bought one square foot from a kiddies craft shop. about 1/4" thick. Equivilant $4.00. MTF

You can get sheets of various dimensions and types of felt from industrial supply houses like McMaster-Carr. They are not that expensive and can make MANY things for MANY uses. I used some adhesive backed felt for the washers you mentioned on my M. Cut them out, then just peal and stick it to the back of the metal washer under the spring and, voila!
