1486 question

I got a 1486 that when going down hill at an idle the tractor like free rolls and wont hold back. if i open it up to around 1100 rpms it will hold back. also the steering and clutch and brakes dont work properly until i reach 1100 rpms. i put a new pump and gaskets in the center section behind the battery box on the left side of the tractor. that seemed to help a little but still not enough to work properly. the filter was changed and found some metal in it before the pump was changed. what else could the problem be? thanks for any help.

You have an internal leak. Did you lose the sump check valve when you replced the pump? Is the o'ring around the steering relief valve leaking? Does this happen both in TA and direct drive? Does the transmission light come on when you step on the clutch? Is it on at low idle with the clutch engaged? Did you replace all gaskets and o'rings in the multiple control valve when you replaced the pump?
