Farmall Tachometer (Tractormeter) Cross Reference...

I am questioning what might retrofit or cross reference a Farmall 504 D tach. I have googled this part and found two people that know of its existance at only one place for $400.00, NOS. Could I use a similar tach from a 400, 450, 460, 560, ect if the rotation is the same? They are everywhere. All the places I call say that the F504D tach is not available as a reproduction, just not very popular.

Have your tach repaired. Try Abbot Enterprise at 1-800-643-5973 (AR). They may be able to help you.

Thank you Ken... I'll give them a call. The last place I called wanted $325 to repair without even looking at it. Overall it is in decent shape, other than the needle broke. Also this is the only one I have ever seen that shows 0-3000 RPM. All the reproductions are 0-2400 RPM. This is a 1962 Farmall 504 Diesel.
