more 560d clutch problems

I hate to say it,but I"ve run into more clutch problems.I have the clutch springs toward pressure plate and have the pressure plate mated to the flywheel. Now I have the two halves of the tractor together and the clutch pedal travels back and forth with no tension on the pressure plate. When I brought the tractor halves together I had the pressure plate on the spline then the clutch plate.I bolted the pressure plate and the flywheel together from under the tractor. You guys have been great to help me and I appreciate it.Maybe if I get past this I can do the topend without pestering ya"ll to death. Thanks again!!

Assuming you have the Throwout bearing in place. The clutch will need to be adjusted. New disks change the adjustment radically. The adjustment will position the Throwout bearing so that it does not spin, but is very close to the fingers. The rod from the pedal must be changed in length to do this. The pedal should have 1" of free play (measured where the pedal hits the foot platform when it is all the way up) before the bearing contacts the Fingers. THis freeplay defines how far the pedal can push the fingers. JimN

That makes sense to me.After putting the two tractor halves together,I did adjust the rod as it was too short to reach the connection point on the clutch arm. This is my first rebuild and when I pushed the clutch pedal,my greatest fear is that I've done something wrong and have to split it again. This has involved a tractor and boom pole with a chain fall with the rear half of tractor blocked up.I'm not complaining just a poor man with poor ways.LOL Thanks for your info!!

Were the fingers on the pressure plate adjusted correctly when it was installed? Did the throwout lever engage the throwout bearing correctly?
