350 utility negative or postive ground

350u serial#13556 S This Has Genny & VR.This tractor is not charging so I want to start by getting the battery connected right.Right now it is connected negative ground,starts and runs fine just no charging is negative ground right?Is there a troubleshooting guide anywere for this model tractor.thanks

My 300Us are both positive gnd. Both 1956.

take a voltmeter and test your gen when running

My 350U is 12 volt positive. Serial# 11857S.

it depends on 6v or 12v. my 350u was 6v pos ground. now its 12v pos ground with gen and VR. it worked great until one day my grandpa droped a wrench on the battery. it sparked, but didn"t blow out anything. now the amp gauge always runs on discharge, but it is charging. its been like that for about 7 years and its still the same battery the wrench got droped on.
