510 loader troubles

Hi
A problem has arisen with my IH 510 payloader. After shifting from reverse to forward there is a pause before it starts moving forward. Someone suggested it might be sucking air from a leaking o-ring somewhere? Or maybe a sticking one-way valve? Has anyone one experienced this problem before? Where would be the best place to start looking (there are no leaks and there are allot of pipes)?
