Rear red dot lamps

I is annoyed with myself. Have to switch my 6 volt lamps to 12 volts and I ordered all the new bulbs but forgot about the red dot. Any chance this is a standard (buy it at the auto supply) type bulb or will I need to get on the phone? Any idea how to get the OLD one out? I cannot believe I missed the fact that there was a light bulb in that red dot!!! Can't see how to get the old lamp out of that red dot thingy!

My napa has all of those bulbs nuthin special about them

Dave, I just replaced that light myself. It's called the jewel light, and it comes apart real hard sometimes. I used two pair of grips to pull mine apart. My napa store didn't have the bulb so I ordered it from `Steiner Tractor parts. I believe it was a #53. The one you most likely have in it is a six volt # st51. Hope this helps.

Remove the light reflector from the housing; easy to see what to do then.
