Cub implement paint colors

What are the proper colors for the 144 cultivator & 174 planter? I looked at the Wisconsin Historical Society site but didn't come away with a clear understanding. I assume the planter is all IHC blue except the galvanized parts are unpainted and the fertilizer amount adjuster is IHC red. I believe the cultivator beams and shanks should be IHC blue but what about the mounting frame and lifting rods?? Are the rear gang beams and mounts also IHC blue?? Also would anyone happen to know the paint #'s for the blue in a readily availible paint?? Thanks ahead of time!!! Rick

Rick, it is possible that more then one scheme was used on these. You are on the right track, but I do know that some of the cultivators had black shanks, and some blue.

The IH blue paint is available from Marshalls Tractor Parts at 1-888-824-0544. The last I got was around 40 bucks a gallon.

ACE hardware sells the IH blue paint in spray cans. I don't know if they have it in quarts or gallons.
