No surprise

I was at the Western Pa's Pioneer Steam and Gas engine show. 30 acres of tractors.

In the 5000 lb. + class, 1rst and 2nd place was taken by a Farmall M and Farmall Super M respectively.

Green, Orange, Blue, and Red were everywhere. In the under 3000lb class almost went to Red, but a Minny Moline came out of nowwhere , "pulled" the Super C into 2nd.

However, overall, there was more Red in the top 3 in all classes.

Anyone surpised????? (uh, other than a M outpulled a SM). :) :)

Green just couldn't run with red. My old M has never lost to a green tractor. Did loose once to a Ford 961, and once to a Long.

Hey georgeky, you are a fellow with lots of wisdom on the farmall' and International tractors. I have a 340 Farmall rowcrop. It had powersteering, but some one has changed the hydraulics on it. Now it has the 2 hyd. lines coming down from the steering wheel, but, nowhere to plug in to the hydraulic block because they have been switched out. According to the book I need the valve assembly 364 841 R94. Of course they are absolete from Case IH. Would you know where I could find one. Thanks in advance

They are pulling in the heavy classes today. 5000Lb and up. There are some pretty fierce JD machines up there and some pretty gnarly cockshutts and some others. This coming from a hardcore IH man. HA HA!!! Plety of red in the upper classes too, thank goodness. I am from that area and know a fair few of the pullers and their machines.

I have no clue where one may be. Power steering parts are hard to come by for those tractors. My best advice would be start checking any and all salvage yards you can.

Might try the Bates Corp. Just google them.
