I have a friend that has an LP laid up in his barn. He had used this tactor for years.

I don't know beans about it, but he says that he needs a carb kit for it and can't find one. I personally have not checked at the Case/IH Dealer. If you folks know of a ready reference for the LP system on the net, I would appreciate it. I did not see the LP carb parts on this site.

Dave. IH never maid a "Factory" H , or M with LP. What your neighbor has is a conversion. Your local IH dealer will be of no help as far as the LP system is concerned.
Your local LP supplier may be able to help, but that is doubtful! Unless you live in an area where LP was run on tractors, pickups, and big trucks.
What are you needing to know, there are a few of us on the Boards here that know and understand LP.

Myself, I don't think I will allow myself to get into the LP stuff on this ole H, but you never know. That conversion sure looks good from a galloping horse. The only thing that kinda looked hung on was what I call the regulator.

Maybe later this fall after the parade and harvest I will se what Larry wants to do. Might wind up with the thing in my barn for a while.

I worked on propane conversion and repairs for some time I have not worked on tractors. I have worked on trucks cars fork lifts ect. The first thing to check on a lp sys is the water leval in rad most l p systems need water to circulate through the vaporizer this changes the propane from a liquid to a vapour befor entering carb. I hope this helps. D F
 
Dave H, I have an LP carb I took off a H and converted it to gas. The carb been laying on the shelf for about six years now. If you are willing to take a chance on it, and pay actual shipping, its your free. Eddie
