What year is my Farmall M

I have an old M with the serial number FBK-24092. Can anyone tell me what year it is.And what does the FBK stand for. Thank You
 
the is year 1940, FBK just stands for Farmall M there are some thoughts to what they stod for but nobody realy seems to know

Look under the "Research & Info" header to your left, and select "Serial Numbers." On that page, select "International & Farmall," then "M, MV, MD, MDV."

The list shows the first serial number for each year. If yours is between two numbers, it was built in the same year as the lower number.

FBK stands for "Farmall M." What the letters stand for exactly has never been determined, besides F for Farmall. I have a theory that the B is the chassis style, and K was the original designation for the tractor before it was changed to M at the last minute.
 
I seem to recall that "F" stood for Farmall, and "" would have been Orchard, "I" Industrial, and "W" for standards. The B and K stood for something else, and B and H (Hs), stood for something. Seems like it had something to do with horsepower, or crop types or something like that. But I do recall I was once told I didnt have a clue what I was talking about when I said that to................
