HELP ME!! what year is it??

My father-n-law has IHC tractor in his backyard under the awning of his barn.. It has been there for as long as I have known my wife, it has never been moved in the last 12 years.. I found the tag that is located on the clutch housing and believe it or not you could actually still read the tag. It said that the model was an "M" and the serial number was as follows: FBK 9666 can anyone PLEASE help me figure what year this might be..

You can help yourself by looking under Serial numbers, in Research and Info, to your left. Doesn't sound like an emergency to me.

I did some checking, and I think that I have found out what year it might be, according to the web-site that I found, it appears to be that this tractor is 1945 Farmall model "M".

My books show that it was manufactured in 1940. 8)

Serial number 9666 is a 1940, not a 1945.
