Clutch assist on 300

A few years ago I seem to remember a part that was made aftermarket to make the clutch easier to push in on these models. They were noted for hard to depress clutches. I just picked up a 300 and the wife is having one heck of a time trying to depresss the clutch. Anyone have any info on these parts?

Mifsud, I've got a 300 and the clutch is very easy to push in, maybe something else is causing the problem. Would like to know what you find out though.

Back in the last 1/2 of the last century M&W Gear Co. of Gibson City, Ill. made, among other items, an extension for the clutch arm on I.H. tractors. It was called "soft clutch". M. & W. was brought out by Alamo Group some after 2000. Armand
