Power steering coupler

Does anybody know where I can buy a swivel coupler that connects a Char-linn power steering pump output shaft to the steering shaft?

DO NOT weld a U-joint onto the torque motor, GET the proper flex type joint or get a keyed double ended 7/8" smooth bore u-joint that would be pinned to both the motor and steering shaft. If you weld a U-joint onto the torque motor, it will prevent the motor to be taken apart if it ever needed to be rebuilt, and the heat from welding will ruin the seals in the torque motor unit causing it to leak. The CharLynn couplers can be found from places such as: Bates Corp, Steiners Tractors, and ebay.

Here are 2 different types of couplers that I found on ebay a few minutes ago.

#1 - This is the typical CharLynn coupler used. It is ebay item #330251870169.

#2 - This is a smooth bore double ended keyed type U-Joint that will also do the job. It is ebay item #320222084550.

Keith,

I couldn't find one for my M either. So, I got a couple of those CAT I to CAT II adaptors, got the shafts/motor lined up real good, drilled some 5/16" holes and used roll pins.

Works good.

Yepper,

Wrapped the last bale at 9:42 am yesterday. Good thing too; a huge pounding rain at 5:30. :>)

Now, to spend 2 or 3 days hauling it all in. :>(
