could someone tell me how to stop oil from getting in where the brake band is and where it might be comming from. I just bought a new one doday and the old one is soaked with oil but there was not much oil built up in the cover.

there is a brake drum that the brake wraps around behind that drum is a seal
 
you have to take the drum off it has one bolt in the center hold on ill get you a link to an exploded view

one more thing!!!!! dont try to pull that bull pinion housing!!!!! you will bust it causing all kinds of trouble for ya pry that seal out with a larg screw driver or pry bar
