M Farmall, PTO Gear

I am searching for a gear that goes on the end of the PTO shaft. My tractor is an automatic and I heard there was not many made. This part is called an adapter by some but I call it a gear. Can anyone help me?

If you mean the part on the front of the PTO shaft made for some early tractors, your right its rare. Never been able to find one myself. Don't know what you mean by automatic, unless you have a super MTA and looking for planet carrier and shaft.

That was my description (wife) and I am not real savvy on tractors. I think it is power steering.

Sorry, I think I misquoted (wife) but it is rare, they only made a few of these tractors. Maybe it is supposed to be power steering. I will check with my husband when he returns. I beleive it was made in 1951. Do you know where he can get a gear?
