Location of Cub Decals

I am trying to find something that shows where all of the decals go on my Cub. I have the Operators Manual and Guy Fays' book "Farmall Letter Series Tractors" but neither one shows every decal. Is there somewhere else I can look to find the answer?

The decals are at the painter right now so I can't tell you all of them. For example I saw in one picture there is a decal that goes on the front of the battery box but I can't tell which one. I know where the McCormick Farmall Cub go along with the light switch, oil filter, air cleaner, drain, the hitch decal that goes on the back of the seat.I was just trying to find a reference document that told where all of them go.

I just went in and looked at Ken Updike's book on Cubs and Cub Cadets from the same MBI series as the Originality Guide for the letter series. It doesn't have the engineer's drawings for decal placement like Guy Fay's book, but you might get it and see if you can pick up some from there. (It's a good book to have anyway, if you have an abiding interest in Cubs.) As an example, there's a decal at the rear/almost bottom of the hood/gas tank whose looks and placement bear a suspicious resemblence the "Disengage the PTO before getting out of the seat, Rufus" decal on As and Bs.

The other thing I might suggest is to leave the ones you can't place off for the moment and hit a show or two, keeping an eye out for the decals you still need to place.

ASAIK there are no "correct" battery box decals being made, and chances are, the kit came with some extras that go in almost every kit Ive ever bought. My Cub was somewhat easy since I dont have hydraulics or a PTO, but looking at my pics, I see the hood decals, the air filter decal, the oil flter decal, the IH decal on the front, the coolingn system drqain decal, the seat decal, light switch and the drawbar decal. All of these are covered in Guys book. Again, knowing which ones you need palcement on will help. There are also decals that were changed to a more universal type decal that the original are no longer being made.
