Traveling the back roads of Indiana this past week and came across a SMTA for sale. According to owner has good TA lo/hi side. Has power steering, tires are fair, tin is all there and straight. Has 3 spool hydraulics mounted on steering post bracket. Also original wide front. I know a tractor is worth what someone is willing to pay...That said what would you feel is a fair price. He wants 3500.00. Thanks all.

If it is $3500, you should take it. Super MTA's are getting very hard to find. My Dad has a Super MTA with wide front, live hydraulics, double wheel weights and the Super MTA is a excellent tractor. They have lots of power and run very nice.

we had one get burnt in barn fire last week. running a fire sale this week on it for 4500.00 so you better get that 1 for 35oo.oo saw 1 last winter in avg to fair condition sell for 12300.00 then i heard the dummy spent 4500.00 getting it restored

As I have said before...Compared to what people pay for a lawn mower,(a new Grass Hopper/$12,000.+, etc) most collector tractor prices are a bargain, IMHO

3500 sounds good, I have an smta/farmhand loader, wide front off an IH 560/ power steering. It would take a lot more than 3500 for me to let it go.
