According to the Nebraska tests, the F-12 rated out at 12.3 pulling 1,870 lbs. at 3.2 mph and the belt horsepower was 16.2.

"not quite enough"

It depends on what you will be doing with the tractor. The F-12 was built for smaller farm jobs, if you needed more power, you get get a larger one, F-20, F-30, etc.

jimmy,
Would you like to bring your 25 hp Deere lawn tractor out to play with my F12? They were buit as the little brother(cheaper) to the F20 and helped wean many farmers from horses and mules.

C'mon Jimmy, I have one with a #86 mounted plow. I can do my 6.5 acres in about 10 hours. That was pretty good compared to a horse.
