Early M hydraulic problem

I am adding a 3 point on an early M using the belly pump to feed the Valve. I have two fittings on the left and one on the right but all 3 are pressurized when you engage the pump. I need to know where the return line goes because I have had 2 people tell me that it is the fitting on the right but if I use that one the system just locks pressure on and it will not move the cylinder until the pump is disengaged. If I cap that line off and run the return into the fill tube everything works fine. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Put a tee in the fill tube and connect the return line there. If you have trouble with oil splashingout of the filler cap, then put a tee in the drain hole and hook the return line there.

all three supply hydraulic pressure, the rear was for a rear mount cultivator. there was a restrictor on the rear cultivator cylinder that delayed the rear drop of the cultivator. you can plumb your return line to either the fill pipe with a tee or the way i did mine was to use a tee in the lower drain plug on the pump. use one end of the tee for the return, a small pipe nipple in the center of the tee and cap the other end of the tee. that way you still have a drain plug. also, on the control rod for the pump, i welded a small section of 5/16 steel rod so it has a nub like the other one on the rod, position it so it will hold the rod in the full on position.

You can get a breather plug that goes in the cylinder where the return hoes goes. This will turn your twoway cylinder into a oneway. there
will be no need in all that extra pluming.
I got one at tractor supply cost less than 5 bucks. looks like a pipe plug with a 1/8 hole in
the side of it.
