Loose/worn cultivator arms

Bad News

On my 100 all of the arms for the cultivators and all the parts on the single point are very worn and loose. I was thinking of welding beads on the shafts and grinding them down to a snug fit. Would this work or would bushing, if I can find the right sizes be better? There is a ton of play in all moving parts moved by the touch contoll hydrulics and I need to get rid of most of it. I use the tractor so this is not for show. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks,Don

Drill out the pivot points and put bushings in them. Motion Industries can provide them. Place Weld buildup pads on the point sides and grind to shape. (the points may not fit other sockets after rebuilding!) JimN

Thanks for the advice. There is a Motion Industries not far from where I work. Just need to get some measurements. Thanks again.
