656 ( industrial?? )

I have a ih 656 hydro that says rowcrop But is looks more like a utillity.But the ser tag reads I656 Did they make a industrail? Mine has 3 point and live pto Also if i remember correctly the ser # comes up as a 1965 (a year before the hydro drive?) Thanks jim

There is an industrial version, the model 2656. The 656 Row Crop is a cross between the Farmall and Utility versions of the 656. Has some features of both. Attached is a photo of mine.
