mag kill switch for Farmall A 50770D

www.oemtractorparts and others should have the switch. The cable is just a piece of electrical wire.

I think that you have an earlier design. the newer versions used a grounding switch and a wire connected to the "spring ground" as you call it.
if you are going for original then i wish you well, i do not have the answer for you; but if you are going for functional, i suggest the wire and switch route, as it is far more reliable than a mechanical cable that can bind, and it will look just like the thousands of other farmalls out there.

Brad, I know I bought a reproduction cable for my `39 H from Justin Weber (Weber`s Tractor Works) a few years ago. They have a website.(do a google search). If he still has any, you can shorten the cable to fit your A. I found a somewhat rusty NOS kill switch cable for my `39 A about 5 years ago and I feel it was like finding a needle in a haystack. They only used that style of kill switch a year or 2 I believe. You should have a little better luck finding the kill switch itself. I see them at tractor show swap meets from time to time.Good Luck,Mark

I`ll see what I can do for you. I can`t get a pic for you till I get home. I`m out in the Black Hills of South Dakota on vacation for a few days yet.

If someone comes up with a picture I would really like to see it. I have a supper low serial number M and some how need to come up with the correct cable thanks Paul
