I am in the process of putting a new motor together for my 1941A. All of the block work has been finished, and I am assembling the goods. Along with all of the block & headwork the shop did for me, I also had them check out the camshaft. When I picked everything up, they did not have any measurements for me, leading me to question what the outcome of the cam check was. I measured the cam tonight, and all of the measurements are very close to each other. The lift (difference between measuring accross the diameter vs. accross the lobe) is averaging 0.19". Can anyone tell me if it is ok to reuse this camshaft, or should I replace it? I can"t find a guide to advise @ what measurements you should consider replacing the cam. All of the bearing journals measure the original dimensions. Thanks in advance for any help.
