Tool box for H

I'm not looking for an original. I would just like a way to have a few tools on hand. Has anybody found something that worked good.

Marshall Tractor Parts sells a universal one that you can easily adapt to your frame rails on an H. About $20. Type in Marshall Tractor.

The best thing I know of for a tractor tool box is a military surplus ammo box. They are waterproof, come in several different sizes and are relatively cheap when compared to a "real" toolbox. Plus, they're probably sturdier than any toolbox on the market. They can be drilled to match whatever existing holes are available on your tractor (so you don't have to drill new holes in original metal) or mounted in other various ways, such as with U-bolts. If you want it waterproof, be sure to seal the drilled holes with silicone, plumbing putty or some other sealant.

You can pretty much bolt up almost any old toolbox to the side of the frame rail or on top the PTO Shield.
