Model H drawbar height

I am repairing an old drag type bush hog and my tractor is 300 miles away.
Will someone please tell me how far it is from the drawbar to the ground?
I may have to modify the bush hog tongue

I would say the answer would be entirely dependent on your tire circumference, which is not only size dependent, but wear dependent as well.

Don't worry about your drawbar height as the others said, your H is adjustable with a couple wrenches. I had to drop mine for my sickle bar mower because I'm running 13.6 rice and cane tires (really tall). You won't have to adjust that much.

If your coupler on the bushhog is a "C" type and I am sure it is, don"t make it fit tight on the drawbar. It needs room for clearance on uneven ground. If you have it tight right now, just leave it be and it will bend itself to the right amount when using it. When adjusting the drawbar remember if the rear tires spin, raise the bar. If the front tires lift lower the bar. The swinging drawbar is acually mounted in a place to minimise the chace of it flipping over backwards since it pulls from in front of the rear wheels, but may cause problems with PTO shaft if left "swinging".
