Pulling parts is HARD Work in the heat!!

Today was indeed the last call to get parts I wanted and needed for others as the crane/excavator is up to that I.H. row They fill up a semi so fast it blows your mind. Dealer called me this a.m. and said last chance or it will be gone. So I worked 5 hours non-stop in the heat and grease and brought another full pickup and trailer home. Found a few interesting parts under the old piles too like a manifold for an F-14, shutter control rods for H and an M, rear wheel weights for 300-350-460 utility stamped June 20 1955, 2 M carbs, drawbar supports, and I brought home 4 heads that I just could not see going to China. A 340 Diesel, 1206, 1256, and 560 Diesel heads; most of these still have the injectors and some parts on them and on and on. I'm only doing this to help fellow I.H.people out so please spare me the flack about trying to sell on this site. I will use the classifieds like a good boy. Time to clean up and put my feet up. Did any of those 560's have the deluxe seat?

Dads 460 had one and my 560 has got just the plain coil spring seat.

That deluxe is so much easier to sit in.

Every one I have seen for sale costs to darn much.

One of the parts I took home today was a seat frame (deluxe) with the lines under the seat support and the base; even still has the little I.H. door on it. You would just have to buy the seat cushion and backrest from one of the sources and walla you are sittin pretty in high cotton. migraine

It's a bit heart-breaking to think about all those old pieces of history going to the crusher/shredder when so many of us are trying to keep them "alive" and kicking. Also a shame is the number of tractors going for scrap price when, if we only knew what's available, we all would be willing to pay much more for those parts we need to keep their siblings going.

I appreciate your efforts to keep those parts in circulation, Migraine, because I know how hard it is to find just that one elusive piece that is getting more and more scarce with every lift of the junkyard crane. And for most of those parts, they ain't makin' any more of them.

Pull on, man, pull on!

I've been looking for the late suspension assembly for my 560. Mine looks nice, except that everything is welded together, inside and out. Instead of replacing the rubber springs, somebody decided to weld it rigid. Makes for a rough ride.

Got a spare I can buy?

as scarce as heads for 560 diesels are, i'm surprised that there was one sitting there expecting to become a toaster. glad you were able to salvage a few more things.

You might try Craig's List also. I put ads in there for a planter and two sickle mowers and they all sold at my price within a week. Buyers came here, paid, loaded and left. I used the most "local" list which is SD.
It's totally free.
