A friend of mine call me and is looking for new rear tires for his super C . It has 10 x 36 on it now but the side wall is cracking out. He thinks that the new size is 11.2 x 36. Where is the best place to get these. Close to central Indiana. Thanks in Advance Steve

Farm tire dealer, probably Firestone, unless you settle for a Chinese knockoff. I don't believe Goodyear makes that size anymore, local Goodyear dealer told me that several years ago.

I am going to 12.4 X 36s on mine. Picked up a new set a year ago, still haven't gotten around to geting them on yet, it has 11 X 36's on it now. Sidewalls are cracking, but they still hold air. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

2 years ago I put a new set of 11.2 firestones on mine but didn't put the fluid back in. The kids have been saying now it doesn't pull anything anymore. I recently found a set of cast wheels from a JD A that I am in the process of fitting and painting. That should hold it down.

We recently put new tires on my Farmall H. My dad and I did it to save the cost of having the tire shop do it and that cash and carry price tag is nice. I would take the rims and tires off the tractor and get them cleaned up and painted before you pull the old tires off, makes it easier to move them around. Get a couple cheap bottles of dishwashing liquid soap and remove about three quarters of it then filling the bottle with water. When you are putting the tires back on the rims use this solution liberally and you will be very surprised at how easy those tires will mount. Cleans up well too!

(quoted from post at 02:50:14 07/03/08) TITAN has that size and last price quoted was 215 cash and carry. 11.2x36
he Titans on my new Kubota are made in USA. David.....

Hi, I have to put new rear tires on my Farmall H with the standard 38 inch rims, someone told me you could use automatic transmission fluid to mount the tires and it willnot rot the rubber or the inner tube! The dishwashing soap is mildly caustic and may rot the rims from the inside out over a period of years! where is the cheapest place to get replacement tires for my Farmall H? thanks, Rich ([email protected])
