There were a few 574's built in 1977, after the 584's were introduced, that were different from the earlier 574's. They had row crop front axles, 16.9-30's on wheels that were not pressed steel, heavy metal but not cast; Had 540 & 1000 PTO; Bigger fenders than earlier 574's with little lights; Bendix guages. I've only seen a few of these. Had mine at a small tractor show & a very knowledable IH guy said he'd never seen one of these _ _ _ 574's and I forget what he called it _ _ _. He asked to take pictures, was surprised where the serial tag's was located. Most had TA's. Anyone know info on these?
