Super A gas tank needed

Does anybody have a usuable Super A gas tank to sell? I have already posted a "wanted" ad in the classifieds, but I'm not sure everyone reads them. I'm in SE Indiana. Thanks!

Well if one for a B will fit I have one that is good. I know the A and B used the same tank but not sure if the super A did

You need one for a SA as the brackets are different from the A or a B. Also the sediment bulb is placed different from the A or a B. A tank from a straight C will fit the SA.

Farmboy: I agree with Gene, it has to come from a SA or C, to do it without modifications.

You could also use a tank from SC, 100, 200, 130, 230 and 140 by cutting a bit off the tank mounts that bolt to touch control, and re drilling them for 2" lower postion.

Thanks Old, Gene, and Andy! I have a couple of usable straight A and B tanks, and I don't think I can get one of them to work without a lot of work. I'll keep a look out for a Super C, 100, 200 etc tank. If you hear of any of them for sale, please send'em my way. Thanks again.

I sold my last C tank, but do have a SC tank if interested in it email me. Like Hugh said it will work with a little alteration.
