SA rear light placement?

I think I may have this figured out. My tractor came with a bracket mounted to the right rear fender and the rear light was mounted on it - I don't think this is the right placement and the bracket is very close to the seat spring. I pulled a rusted bar pictured below off a super a since mine didn't have this piece. Does the light mount to the rusted bar which looks like it mounts under the seat behind the serial number tag? Is there a clamp that mounts to the light and around the cylinder part on the end of the bar? Is caheih my best place for that part? I think I can use my rear light, hope I can, they look expensive...

Your correct, the light mounts to the bracket, and the bracket mounts to the seat support. The clamp is available from OEM tractor parts and probably Steiner tractor parts, you can Google either of them. CASE/IH may have it, too. I would check pricing and shipping. The clamp was used on other tractors, so you might get one at the salvage yard as well. There is also a little pipe spacer needed, if it is not on your light.

I forgot to mention, I bet the reason it was moved was the three point hitch, It will not work in the original location with the hitch on the tractor.

Thanks Daniel H. I did the 3 pt hitch, there was never a light bracket. good point though, I checked and I have a very tight tolerance with the correct bracket and the plate on the rockshaft for the top link. The way it is now will work for what I need.

Nice looking tractor by the way!
