M Clutch Throw-out Bearing

I am having problems with the clutch on my M. I believe it is the throw-out bearing. Is there any way to replace it without breaking the tractor in half?

Yes. The entire clutch can be replaced without splitting. It still ain't easy, but it can be done.

What exactly is it doing?

When I push the clutch pedal, nothing happens-it remains in gear and moving or the gears grind when I try to put it in gear.

I assume I have to remove the lift-all and work on the clutch and throw0out bearing from that opening?

Drop the pump, Ill bet one of the pins out that holds the 3 fingers on the pressure plate has fallen out. With the right prying, you can put it and a new cotter pin back in without pulling the clutch out. I had that happen a couple of times to me.
