I originally posted this in the General Tractor forum and got no hits. I'm sure the Red folks should have some information:
I just traded my H for a '55 300. Got home and went to hook it up to the disk, found out that I had not paid attention to the hydraulics on the 300. Not that it would have made any difference..
All 6 fittings are original. I'm trying to get ahold of the rear quick disconnect bracket and fittings, but the question is, how do the 4 front fittings work without the quick disconnect bracket to hold the fittings on? Can I still get these fittings? The tractor-side fittings have flat faces with threads around where the pullback sleeve would be for a Pioneer fitting. I'm sure that I can just change them out for Pioneers, but would like to use the old fittings and make short hose adapters instead.

Based on cost effectiveness and interchangeably factors alone,
You should probably replace them with pioneer quick couplers. Just about every implement utilizes them and adapters from odd ball implements to pioneer's are cheap.

And personally the screw type self sealing couplers are a leaky mess if you don't do regular maintenance on them.
Not that any hyd. coupler isn't just more so, IMHO.
