I attached a picture of the bar that the front left light attaches to. I have the original light but I dont know what I need to buy to attach the light to the tractor. Any help would be great! thanks!

You need a new bar. The end of the bar is flatten and has a hole drilled in it. Yours is snapped off just at the point where it is supposed to be flattened.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know where I could get one. I didn't see any for sale on this website.

www.oemtractorparts.com -- look at their online catalog, they will also send you a hard copy.

The en of the bar is snapped off. It should have a flat on the end that is drilled out to mount the stud on the back of the light.

OEM has the bars. Last time I looked they were I think $11, but may have gone up with the price of steel.

Dependin' how original you want things to be, you MIGHT have another option. The Guide lights were mounted to some other tractors, like the Super C, using a clamp that tightened around the light bar. Instead of bolting the stud on the light directly to the arm, you slip the clamp over the light bar, and the ends of the clamp over the stud on the light and tighten it down that way. If the bars are the same diameter, you could use one of those clamps instead. OEM usually has those, too, called light bar clamps.

I say MIGHT because the light bar on the SuperC is a larger diameter (like 13/16" or 7/8") than the bar you have on your tractor (more like 5/8") and I couldn't tell ya whether that clamp will come down that tight or not. Probably replacing the bar is your surer bet.

Keep in mind that the light brackets are different for the right and left side. The left side is shorter as the left front axle is shorter. Notice that the bracket is locked in place with a set screw and a lock nut. The round bracket can be rotated to adjust the up and down aim of the light. The light itself can be swiveled right and left for aiming. Dave.
