Farmall M distributor question

I just recently purchased a Farmall M tractor. I"m ordering a tune up kit. How do I tell if my distributor is a Farmall, Delco or Prestolite? It is a horizontal distributor and has two grease fittings behind the cap, but I can"t tell what kind it is. Can you help?

85% Chance it is a IH dist.
As far as I know there are no grease fittings behind any Dist cap of any make! Show us a pic, and we will let you know. Delcos were vertical. Prestolite rare.

The grease fittings are on the dist. shaft behind the cap. After reading the two previous replies, I'm assuming that I have an IH distributor, as it is horizontal, so that eliminates Delco, and I could not see anything that indicated it might be a Prtestolite. Thanks for your help!

jim, i"m thinking what he is refering to are the two plugs that screw in between the dist cap and front cover, one on the dist, one on the housing between (in place of the live pump) somebody prolly took the plugs out and put zerks in there. if memory serves, you would take the plugs out, screw zerks in there and give em a couple pumps of grease, then put the plugs back in.

Greasing the shaft (from the outside, cap still in place) is something missed often because the owner leaves the original plugs in, and never bothers to read the manual. They are not to be greased very often, (once per yr. and modestly)but it is important. many shafts and bushings have been worn out from lack of lube. JimN
