IH 350 utility Hydraulic oil leaking under steering wheel

I just finished rebuilding the engine in a 350 utility tractor. Since getting it running I have hydraulic oil running out from under my steering wheel.

I'm looking for a supplier for seals or a rebuild kit for the steering valve or any other repair that I can make to this unit. I've contacted about everyone I can think of for parts and no luck.

Thanks
Sam

Several years ago I worked on an International 460 utility that was leaking steering fluid from under the steering box. After removing the box, it turned out to be a freeze (casting) plug that had worked loose. It appears that while trying to remove the steering wheel, the owner had somehow started to drive the plug out.

Hope this helps.

You might check to see if it has a hand pump similar to my 2606 which is also on a 606 and others and maybe the 460 also.

There is a seal in the top. I ended up pulling the steering wheel, the dash panel, disconnected the hyd lines, and removed the hand pump to fix it. When I was done, I figured out I could have done it still installed. I don't remember if the seal fits through the dash panel hole or not but I believe it does. Having hyd psi will help blow the old seal out. I had to use air psi to do it. Mine had a felt washer and rain cap they don't use anymore but I stuck the cap and maybe the washer on there anyway. Seems like there is an internal snap ring holding the seal in for which you need snap ring pliers. You may need a puller with a little heat to get the steering wheel off. It may have a tapered shaft under it.
