did valve job and tried to start but gas spits out of carb. i put a kit in from tractor supply but maybe i should get a better carb kit somewhere else? is there a kit just for dtstilate? thanks

You need to totally disassemble the carb, soak in carb cleaner solution for 2-3 days. Then blow out with carb cleaner and air. Then install the complete kit (40$).Check float for leaks. Set the float level, reassemble.
Email if you are interested in a new carb, will take yours as core.I do one a month to 100% show standards.

i put wrong kit in (50981da), carb is a 50981dc. i remember that gasket didnt seem to fit very good, i thought it was cheap junk from TS.my mistake
