574 hydraulic flow

I have fouund several diffrent sources with several diffrent answers to this question.

Can anyone tell me the actual flow of the hydraulic system on a 574?

I purchased a valve that will flow 15 gpm. And the information I had at that time said the tractor flowed 11 gpm.

My concern is I keep hearing the reief valve opening on the tractor while operating the loader, I was concernedd that it may be building pressure in front of the valve causing the system to become restricted. It is just a guess.

With the new valve the loader operates much slower than it did before. I do however know that the raise lower and the tilt is switched on the valve. So I have to fix that somehow.

Hi Jeef, yes standard hydraulic pump for 574 was 11 gpm, imperial gallons/minute so about 12.5 US gpm. Only 9 gpm goes to main hydraulics, MCV splits 3gpm for PS & PB. My brother bought a 3230 (newer version of 584 but with 17 gpm pump) a couple of years ago and we transferred the 2250 IH loader from his 495 and the loader is much faster with the 17 gpm pump.
