I finely saved up enuff to buy the distributor i wanted. The mag was eratic in operation and i dislike mags any way.
After installing it and seting the timeing i tryed it. No Fire. I tryed several things and was ready to give up for the day when i decieded to pull the valve cover. When i turned the engine i noticed the intake depressed. O No, it was 180 out. I moved the wires 2 holes over and presto! it fired on the first try. The mag never ran that good.
i think what happened was ... one of the roosters i have, being young boys, decieded to run the tractor around and got it out of time. You know how roosters are.
Now i just need to replace the carb, when i tryed to rebuild it the brass seats all broke out and left the seat body in place, and fix the hydrolic pump and im in bussness. Grizz
