It was available in gear drive tractors I know. To change one from 540 to 1000 requires changing shafts and gears from the clutch backing plate on back. Major problem. Combination 540/1000 as on large frame tractors was not available. It was either 540 OR 1000.

Hello all, I have a 1953 Farmall super M. serial# F-45324 FJ C-264 engine. I am searching for the shift yoke/collar and linkage for the pto. new or used. The shaft is present. does anyone know where I could find one??? all replies will be appreciated and answered. Thank You for any and all help. Joe davison in Laluz, New Mexico.
