decals on 140

I am restoring a farmall 140 and need some help on where 3 decals go 1 BE CAREFUL stop power take-off before dismounting 2 hitch only to drawbar or front pull hook and not to tractor 3 CAUTION under no circumstances lock, pin or tie rocksshaft arms together any help in where these go will be greatly appreciated

lee: 140 had a 21 year production run 1958 to 1979, and during that time there were a few changes. I think year of tractor will matter.

The decal on not tieing two rockshaft arms together goes on left of fuel tank, just above the rockshafts and I've seen it above the fuel tank seam as well as below seam.

Hitch only to drawbar is on back of seat on my 140, or at least was there until I painted the seat.

That PTO warning, I better pass, it's been gone from my tractors for some time. I'll look when daylight comes see if there may be slight reminance of that.

I agree with Hugh on the first two decals, the PTO decal is on the top of the PTO shield which is usually missing from these tractors.

Here you can see the rock-shaft decal on my Super A, I believe the 140 is the same:

Dan: The rockshaft decal is exactly same on my 140, below the fuel tank seam. Your also right about the PTO decal, I sold my PTO shield as it interferes with fast hitch. My 130 fast hitch destroyed that PTO shield, thus I decided I may as well turn my 140 shield into cash. The only thing I use PTO for is a direct mount spray pump, and it has it's own shield.

I put my PTO warning on the fuel tank because my shield was missing. I don't use the PTO, but I put one of these shields on it:
