Have talked here about laziness of the govenor on my 47 Farmall M. All of a sudden its taking to surging. In 50 years of messing with tractors and engines never seen a farmall tractor surge. Anybody ever had that problem? Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Bernie Steffen

Sounds like carb problems. the gov is trying to make up for the carbs prblems. check for good fuel flow and adjustment. After that check to make sure the carb and gov are insync with each other.
