I am currently making restoration plans for these tractors on my family's farm. Both are original to the farm and I would like to restore them to working condition. They currently do not run and need extensive work. Any information anyone could provide on these models would be greatly appreciated (links, lit. etc.). I look forward to learning about, working on and enjoying these pieces of our families heritage. Thank you in advance to anyone that can help!

Good luck. Restoration is very enjoyable. Lots of good help here ask Questions as you come up on issues.

Newground: The 300/330/350 International utility tractors had a poor steering system in terms of longevity. Often the steering systems fail - one wheel pointing one way the the other wheel the other, and all sorts of odd antics from the front end. The bad part is, many of the parts are not available to repair them. Personally, while I like them, I avoid them for that very reason. Best of luck, whatever you decide, but consider yourself forewarned. mike

The CaseIH online catalog has a lot of information which is printable. Exploded diagrams and part numbers will help you out ordering and installing parts. This is no substitute for shop manuals but well worth the time to print out and bind. As you go through each section you'll find some items not relevent to your tractors. So, get a ream of copy paper, a few ink cartridges and a couple of three ring binders and have at it. Began your search at right bottom. Two nice units to make nice.
Though the manual steering system on the Utility is somewhat fragile, and "hard to steer" is an understatement, The PS unit is pretty robust if maintained. Parts for the steering are either rebuilt locally, or found used/good. We have a well used 350U with PS, and though currently not as tight as new, it does work well. I was driving it into a farm we owned in the winter through a puddle at 12 MPH when the RF tire broke through the ice. It twisted so hard on the RF tie rod, that the steering arm on the right side of the Box, snapped in half. (exciting) We welded it back together, and it is still there. No gears broke, nor parts bent in the event, so I think they are intrinsically OK. JimN
