c, super c, 200, 230, 240, then poof?

what came after the 240? Sure doesn't look like there was a continuation of that frame from the books i have.
would a 404 be the closest?
also did anything in that C lineage have live pto?

Karl: Your right 404 and that was it, what followed was British designed 424, 444, etc.
None of the C, SC, 200, 230, 240 or 404 had live PTO.
 
I have all of those tractors including the 404 Farmall and I agree that they pretty much stopped the boat there. Had the 460 Ute and such but no narrow row crop types. But they sure turned the rpms up on that 404. That baby will turn some serious R's. Probably my favorite tractor out of that bunch is the 200. Migraine
